School Code of Conduct

• Because we recognise our collective responsibility to this school, we will arrive on time, neatly and correctly dressed, ready to participate and study.We shall behave in a polite and considerate manner that permits each one to study and learn.  
• We shall respect each person's right to dignity. Negative remarks about anyone's family, birthplace, race   or religion will be considered inappropriate at our school.
• We shall respect each other's property. We consider the school buildings and grounds our collective property.
• We shall take pride in our work and be fair and honest. We shall not brag or ridicule others.
• Exceptional behaviour in this school will be recognised appropriately. Diligent pupils will be acknowledged.
• Pupils whose actions detract from the learning environment can expect to receive consequences.
• We shall accept our responsibility to encourage and correct each other sensitively and when necessary.
• We shall acknowledge when we are wrong and shall apologise appropriately.
• We recognise that violation of these rules will be subject to consequences as set out by our school's Discipline Policy.
